About the surgery

Acme Medical Practice has served Camden since 1978. We moved to our purpose-built premises on Albert Street in 2009, with step-free access, a hearing loop at reception and consulting rooms on the ground floor.

We have six GP partners, three salaried GPs, four practice nurses, two healthcare assistants, a clinical pharmacist and a first-contact physiotherapist, supported by our practice manager and reception team.

We are a training practice, so you may be offered an appointment with a GP in training. They are fully qualified doctors gaining experience in general practice, supervised by one of our partners.

Our patient participation group meets every three months to discuss how the practice is run. New members are always welcome: ask at reception.
